MONTGOMERY, Ala. – TRUK PAC, the political arm of the Alabama Trucking Association, today announced its endorsement of Katherine Robertson for Alabama Attorney General in the 2026 election.
Robertson has served for nearly a decade as Chief Counsel to Attorney General Steve Marshall, where she has helped lead the state’s legal fights against federal overreach and worked to defend Alabama’s businesses and workers. Alabama Trucking leaders say her record and experience make her the right choice to continue that work on behalf of the trucking industry and the small businesses it supports.

As one of Alabama’s most vital economic sectors, the trucking industry plays a critical role in supporting the state’s economy and communities. It provides 133,650 jobs, accounting for roughly 1 in 13 jobs statewide, making it a major source of employment for residents. Beyond jobs, the industry ensures the safe delivery of 81.7% of all essential goods across Alabama, including food, medical supplies, and construction materials, reaching even the most remote communities.
