Mr. Frazier has more than 30 years of experience in the trucking industry serving as technician, maintenance management, operations management, and safety management. He is a Certified Director of Safety as awarded by the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI).

Previous to coming to the Association, Frazier served as V.P. of Safety and Maintenance with a successful Alabama motor carrier operating 275 power units and over 600 trailers. In 2002, he was named Alabama Safety Professional of the Year by the Alabama Trucking Association.

Mr. Frazier joined ATA in 2011. Frazier’s primary responsibility is to perform as staff executive and assistant to the President in operation of the varied programs and activities of the Association, and fulfills additional duties and responsibilities in the Association’s operation, as assigned. These duties include, but not limited to:

  • Plan, organize, direct and conduct the safety program and activity, both internal and external, in all areas related to the Association and industry interests.
  • Plan, organize and direct educational & training programs relative to trucking industry needs.
  • Serves as Association Liaison with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
  • Conduct the continuing staff operations of a program of membership maintenance and development coordinating closely with the Business Manager.
  • Research, plan, develop, coordinate and conduct special programs, projects, or other activities as assigned, in the Association’s interest.
  • Provide staff assistance to the Committees, Councils and other groups of the Association, as assigned.

In addition to his duties with the Association, he serves as a board director on Alabama Operation Life Saver and Bevill State Community College Truck Driving School Advisory Council.
