Ford Boswell has 20-plus years of diversified experience and increased leadership skills in journalism, B2B publishing, public relations, corporate communications and media relations with a strong background in government, industrial and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining ATA, he worked for an international B2B publisher of trade journals for the forestry and heavy equipment industries where he served as a lead reporter and associate editor.
In 2020, he left the Association as a full-time team member after 15 years of spearheading its communication and marketing department and now serves as a senior advisor for marketing and communications, handling print and digital publications, marketing and media strategy.
In January 2022, he formed the marketing communications firm Trackt Media LLC to funnel his various streams of work. His clients included industrial, transportation, entertainment and hospitality industries. He still considers himself a brand journalist, and his articles and writings have appeared in national and international trade publications, as well as regional news outlets, including the Birmingham News, Montgomery Advertiser, and Mobile Press-Register, among others.
He lives in Homewood, Ala. with his family, and enjoys good barbecue, cheap beer, and the occasional bourbon and Coke.
