On April 20th, ATA’s Safety & Maintenance Management Council is hosting its Spring Roadside Inspection at the Southbound rest area near Tuscaloosa and will be conducting live Level 1, 2, and 3 inspections. The inspections will be spearheaded by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration agents and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Motor Carrier Safety Unit troopers with SMMC members assisting. It’s a great opportunity to learn and prepare your fleet for a possible safety inspection.

Limited space is available, so please register early. SMMC members will provide food, drinks, and snacks. Ben Dunn with J&M Tank Lines has generously committed to the grill, providing hamburgers and hot dogs.
