If you are a trucker or work in the industry, please consider being a part of this year’s convoy. Alabama’s leg (Birmingham to Gadsden) is about 35 miles long.
Registration/check-in is from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the entrance to the Guiding Light Church in Birmingham (1800 John Rogers Drive, Birmingham, AL 35210). There is mandatory drivers’ meeting at 9:30 a.m. and the convoy begins at 10 a.m. and then rolls to the Petro Stopping Center in Gadsden (1724 West Grand Ave., Gadsden, AL 35904). The trip should take about an hour. After arrival there will be food, live music and recognition and announcements from event organizers and local dignitaries.
