ATA Truck Driving Championships

Arrangements are finalized for this year’s Truck Driving Championships.  You and your company are invited to participate and support this popular event that features Alabama’s best professional truck drivers.

Similar to Alabama Trucking’s Fleet Safety Awards, this event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Alabama’s truck drivers. Industry participation in these events can be extremely beneficiary in honoring the hard work, talent, and professionalism of our drivers and safety professionals.

Competition will be in nine classes:  straight truck; 3-, 4- and 5-axle van tractor-semitrailer; 5-axle tank; 5-axle flatbed; twin trailers; sleeper berth and step van.

The top three places in each class will receive trophies. Also, trophies will be awarded to the Rookie of the Year, highest score on the vehicle defects test and Grand Champion.

Plan now and enter your company’s best drivers in the 2026 Alabama Truck Driving Championships.  Recognition of safe driving pays dividends through improved morale and increased driver awareness of safe operations.
