The new issue of Alabama Trucker magazine is now online. This quarter, we recognize the rising younger leaders pushing our industry ahead.

In shops, terminals, and offices across Alabama, a quiet shift is happening. A new generation of early- and mid-career professionals is stepping up and shaping the future of the state’s trucking industry. Our Next In Line honorees are part of this change, earning their place as leaders not through titles, but through consistent, deliberate work, a willingness to take responsibility, and a shared seriousness about their craft. Thanks to your nominations, we’ve identified a remarkable group of young leaders. In this issue, we’re showcasing the first group, with more to come in next quarter’s edition.

Also inside, Alabama Trucking has teamed up with state and national associations to launch the Fight for Fairness and Safety, a new plan by the Trucking Association Executives Council to remove bad actors and restore fair competition in the industry.

Alabama’s trucking community demonstrated its impact at the annual ATA Golf Classic, a key political fundraiser. This year’s event set a new fundraising record to support “Trucker Approved” candidates in the 2026 elections.
