Big stories. Real updates. Content that actually matters to your operation — all in one place.
Alabama Trucking Association has launched Alabama Trucking News, a dedicated news outlet living right on our website at alabamatrucking.org and at altruckingnews.com. It’s your go-to source for Association news, safety and maintenance updates, industry developments, and member and partner spotlights.
“We’re creating an information community for Alabama trucking members and industry stakeholders.”
Whether you’re looking for the latest regulatory changes, state and local politics coverage, advocacy, event coverage, or stories from across the Alabama trucking community, it’s all here — and updated regularly for ATA members like you.
Alabama Trucking Directory of Marketing & Advocacy Josh Vaughn says the new news site is not geared to replace or compete with traditional news sites, but to create “an information community for Alabama trucking members and industry stakeholders.”
“Being able to communicate with your members and industry stakeholders is an ever-shifting challenge that advocates and associations are constantly facing. There are a lot of perspectives, agendas, and distractions all competing for our attention. That’s not a bad thing,” said Vaughn. “But it means that curating information that informs and saves our members’ time is more important than ever.”
“We want to be a one-stop news source for the critical information that Alabama trucking professionals need to make informed decisions about their businesses,” he said, emphasizing the goal of providing timely and relevant updates. “Led by Mark (Colson) and supported by an exceptional team of talented professionals, Alabama Trucking has a great story to tell our members and the public. We’re posting daily content, including news and stories from our staff and mixing in articles and pieces from industry thought leaders and guests to bring real-world insights and information.”
