Governor announces more financial help for small businesses affected by pandemic

Gov. Kay Ivey announced Wednesday, Nov. 18, that her administration has created a $200 million grant program intended to help small businesses that have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new program, called Revive Plus Initiative, will offer cash grants in an amount of up to $20,000 for small businesses, nonprofit and faith-based organizations with fewer than 50 employees to assist in covering qualifying expenses incurred for operational disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The grants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the application period will be open from noon on November 23, 2020, through noon on December 4, 2020.
