This month marks a huge milestone for Ward International Trucks, a family-owned business that has been a trusted partner to trucking businesses along the Gulf Coast since 1985. Founded by Alabama Trucking legend Bill Ward, what started as a single dealership in Mobile has grown into a thriving enterprise with locations in Pensacola and Tallahassee, Fla. Mr. Bill’s journey began after his service in the U.S. Army, leading to a successful career with International Harvester Co.

In 1985, he opened his first dealership, expanding operations and earning recognition for his contributions to the trucking industry, including serving as ATA Chairman in 2011 and earning the prestigious H. Chester Webb Award in 2017. Bill’s daughter, Leigh Breal, joined the family business in 1995, working her way up to Dealer Principal in 2013. Under her leadership, Ward International Trucks continues to innovate while staying true to its core values of customer service and integrity. The Ward International Trucks team celebrated this incredible milestone with events at all their locations, with partners, employees, and friends coming together to honor the company’s legacy of hard work, teamwork, and dedication to serving their customers.
