Do you like working with your hands as well as new technologies? Master new skills in the innovative field of diesel technology. Diesel technicians are essential to keeping everything up and running. You’ll maintain and repair diesel engines of trucks, semi-trailers and other heavy equipment and oversee all diagnostic tests on vehicles. You’ll also repair engines and transmissions, optimize steering and braking systems, and test drive vehicles for safety.

Wallace State Community College
Shift your career into gear at Wallace State’s four-week commercial driving program at its Hanceville campus or a six-week program at its Oneonta campus. Graduates who pass the Department of Transportation Road Test will receive a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) and a certificate of completion from Wallace State Community College.
These programs are also offered locally in Huntsville and Monroeville.
