Col. Jon Archer grew up in Mobile, Ala. He graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Public Administration. He also trained at the FBI National Academy. was assigned to the ALEA Driver License Division in 2017 before being appointed DPS Director in March. Prior, he worked in many ALEA divisions including Marine Patrol, Training and Emergency Management.

Alex has 40 years of experience in the transportation industry. He began his journey in the transportation industry while serving in the U. S. Navy. He holds a CDL with most endorsements and has driven and operated many types of trucks throughout his career.

Kimble Coaker joined the ATA Comp Fund as CEO in December 1995. His expertise is building insurance programs for nonprofit entities, trade associations, and association-based self-insurance funds. For his many years of industry leadership and value to Alabama Trucking, he was given the 2019 recipient of the Chester Webb Award for Distinguished Service.

Mr. Seymour has been a longtime advocate for not only public safety but also an ardent advocate of the trucking industry.
