You already have the most valuable assets in this game of influence – honor, integrity, and a message that resonates. But it still takes resources to get that message out of the garages and terminals and into the halls of Montgomery and Washington. Our industries willingness to coalesce behind a common message is what keeps the Alabama Trucking Association’s voice loud in Montgomery.
Alabama Trucking has already delivered real wins: a cap on property tax assessments that keeps more money in your pocket, passage of the Highway Safety and Fairness Act of 2026, and expanded truck parking, and infrastructure improvements statewide. Every one of those required candidates, elected officials, and administrators who were willing to listen to what our industry needed.
We’ve already put in a lot of work this cycle. Ahead of the May primaries, Alabama Trucking released its “Trucker Endorsed” candidate list to help our members back the right people from the start. But the 2026 primaries were just round one. With races for Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and other key offices heading to November, TRUK PAC must retain a well stocked cupboard so we can finish what we started and prepare for future.
