Since 1938, we’ve provided a unified voice for Alabama-based trucking operations by supporting favorable laws, rules and regulations and by opposing those that are harmful or detrimental to our mission. We’ve also worked tirelessly to make our industry safer and our image stronger through advocacy and training.
With your dues investment, we make sure you’re kept in the loop on the most recent changes and events affecting trucking. As a member, you receive our award-winning Alabama Trucker magazine and regular legislative bulletins, as well as special industry information briefs (safety and regulatory updates, etc.).
Attending the Association’s Annual Convention and other gatherings, networks you with those who share the same interests and concerns. For instance, ATA’s Safety & Maintenance Management Council’s monthly education programs and its sponsored events, like the Annual Truck Driving Championship give you the chance to participate in activities benefiting your company’s operation.
As a dues-paying member, you can also protect your bottom line. Members are eligible to receive discounted rates on workers’ compensation benefits through the ATA Comp Fund.
