The Alabama Trucking Association invites you to participate in a free seminar designed to guide motor carriers how best to comply with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, more commonly called Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act. The law is effective January 1, 2014, with analysts predicting that health care premiums for businesses could double next year.

The law is confusing, but it’s important that fleet executives understand it and its looming impact on their bottom line.

ATA has enlisted S.S. Nesbitt & Co. and Lehr Middlebrooks & Vreeland, P.C. to help our motor carrier members make well-informed healthcare decisions under the new law. The program is set for Thursday, Aug. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Association Headquarters in Montgomery. Fleet owners, managers, and healthcare administrators are encouraged to attend. Lunch is provided.

The seminar is limited to 75 attendees, so please reserve your seat(s) today. Once we fill all available seats, registration will close. Again, this is a free session for ATA motor carrier members.
